It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our sister in Christ Mrs. Catherine Cheruiyot (Cate Wanjira Ngunyi) which occurred at Nakuru Nursing Home on Thursday the 24/112020 after a short illness.

She was wife to Pastor Daniel Cheruiyot (Principal AIC Chepkoiyo Secondary School) and mother to Esther and Victor Mise, Ezra, Enecho, Elizabeth and Elias.

Daughter to Esther Ngunyi and the late Joseph Ngunyi, daughter in law to Alice Chelogam and the late Willy Chelogam.

Sister to Isaac (late), Margaret, Simon, Irene, Martin, Gladys and Jerioth Ngunyi.

Sister-in-law to Charity Nyawira, Ephraim Njogu, Joseph Karanja, Njuguna, Ezekiel, Stephen, Micah, Catherine, Nancy (late) Chelogam and others. Lovig aunt and cousin of many.

Until her demise she was a career teacher and principal at Jomo Kenyatta Girls High School, Nakuru.

Funeral arrangements and prayers are being held daily at Jomo Kenyatta Girls’ High School and her rural home in Chepseon, Kericho.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru, on Tuesday the 29th December 2020 at 0700 hours for the funeral service at Kipyemit village on the same day.
