We regret to announce the sudden death of Catherine Karwirua, Wife to Edward Kabira Gathege (K.A) of Kariobangi Light Industries.

Mother to Marklee Gathege of Tangaza University. Daughter to the late Sakaria Muketha & Elizabeth Muketha of Gantukune village, Meru County. Daughter in law to the late Gathege Maira & Monica Gathege of Rwarai Farm, Mukurwe-ini. Sister to Francis Mugiira, John Ndumba, the late Susan Kanana, Regina Mataria, the late Isaiah Ndegwa, the late Geoffrey Nkanda & Anita Kinoti. Sister in law to Samuel Maira Gathege of Samin Hardwares & Sam General Merchants Mukuwerini, Margeret Maira (Sam Merchant), Loise Wamuyu, Charles Mugocoku, the Late Wanjiru Mugocoku, Esther Gathoni, Beatrice Wangu, Duncan Ndegwa (KRA),Annastacia Wanjiku (Equity Bank), John Kibe and Nancy Kibe. She was auntie to many.

Friends & relatives are meeting at Magomano Hotel Nairobi, Euro Pub Umoja 1, Outspan Hotel Kariobangi & Davis Club Mukurwe-ini.

The cortege leaves K.U. mortuary at 6.00am on Friday, 6/07/2019 for church service at Thunguri Orthodox Church and thereafter burial at her father in-law’s farm at Rwarai, Kiangoma village.
