Catherine Kendi Kamunde

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Catherine Kendi Kamunde, of Somak Safaris, Nairobi following a short illness.

Daughter of the late Erastus M’Murwithania Kobia and Judith Ncurubi M’Murwithania. Loving mother of Calvin Mngatana Kirungu of Mount Kenya University, Parklands Campus. Dearest sister of Dr. Frank Mwongera, Josephine Kinanu Karani, Beatrice Karambu Gikunda, Eustace Kimaru, Susan Mberenya Kimathi, Stella Nkirote Kirimi, Rose Kinya Muraya, John Mbaya Kamunde and Molly Naitore Kamunde.

Sister-in-law of Elizabeth Karwitha Mwongera, Justus Karani, the late Japhet Gikunda, Josephine Gacheri, Alphaxand Kirimi, Charles Kimathi, the late Shadrack Muraya and Judith Muthoni Mbaya. Loving aunty of many nieces and nephews.

Funeral and burial arrangements will be announced at a later date.
