It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we the Chavanga family announce the passing on of Catherine Makungu which occurred on 11th November 2020.
Beloved daughter of the Late Mzee Javan Chavanga and the Late Mama Felicity Chavanga. Adoring sister to Yahya, Patrick, Tom, the Late Michael and Abdulkarim. Caring aunty to Asiya, AbdulKadir, Ali Michael Jnr, Maya, Rita among others. Grandma to Amaan and sister in law to Esha.
Meanwhile family and friends are meeting at her residence in Kileleshwa, Vihiga Road off Mwingi Road. Funeral contributions can be chanelled to Mpesa Paybill: 8015825 – Acc No Kate Chavanga Memorial.
A Requiem mass will be held on Monday 16th November 2020 at the Holy Trinity Church, Nyeri Road Kileleshwa (Nairobi) at 10:00am.
The Burial service will be on Tuesday 17th November 2020 from 11:00am at the family home Kaisagat Location Kipsaina off the Kitale-Kapenguria Road Trans Nzoia County.
Due to the Covid-I9 protocols the Burial shall be a private ceremony and we humbly request that you kindly bear with the family.
