It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Catherine Nanyonga Malavu, which occurred on 14th June 2020.
Daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Chris Malavu of Tigoni. Sister of Herbert Malavu, Dr. Andrew Malavu, Christine Malavu, Charles Malavu and the late Ngotho Malavu. Sister- in-law of Faith Malavu and Jay Ross.
Burial will be held on 17/06/2020 at her father’s home in Tigoni.

Kathy indeed this was just so sudden.Very very painful but am sure with your clean heart through your natural smile you are seated in the heavens smiling with the angels till we meet again RIP.You were more than just a colleague but a true friend.
Suddenly snatched away from family and friends. I share in the sorrow and pray the Almighty to rest your beautiful soul in eternal peace. To Catherine’s parents, my heartfelt condolences. May you find peace, strength and grace to bear this painful loss.
Kathy and I attended St Christopher’s secondary school together. She was always friendly and fun to be around.
She will be greatly missed.

While visiting Nairobi from Canada I had an opportunity to interact with Catherine at Simba, she was an amazing ambassador for Kenya and a representative of kindness. She always smiled and was welcoming during our visits. Rest in Peace.
We are deeply saddened to hear the news of Catherine’s passing. On behalf of all the Canadians from College of the North Atlantic , who engaged with her, we are sending our thoughts and prayers to her family. She was professional, friendly, welcoming and her beautiful warm smile will not be forgotten.
