It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Catherine Wangui Kariuki which occurred on 7/01/2018 at Nairobi West Hospital after a short illness. She was a deputy headteacher at Karati Primary School.
Wife of James Kariuki teacher at Ndothua Primary Schoo.l Daughter of Joseph Gathungu Murimi and the late Mary Wangechi Gathungu. Loving mother of Zaveria Njeri (Delyde Associates), Barnabas Wathiai (Concern Worldwide), Joseph Gathungu (TUM Mombasa) & Emmanuel Wahome (KCA). Sister of James Murimi (Gathambi Primary), Samuel Maina (Nguku Primary), Peterson Waniohi (JKUAT), Daniel Mugo (USA), Nicholas Mwaniki (business man) and Nancy Wairimu (business lady). Aunt, cousin and grandmother of many:
Relative and friends are meeting daily in her home Kwa haraka, Githabai Location, South Kinangop. The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Tuesday 16/01/2018 for burial at her home
