Cecilia Njeri Titus Muigai
1920 – 2017
It is with gratitude to the Almighty God that we celebrate the life of Cecilia Njeri Titus Muigai of Gakarara. Village, Kandara, Muranga County, who passed away on 19 December 2017 at Nairobi Womens Hospital.
Daughter of the late Ndauwa wa Gaithuma and the late Elizabeth Wangui. Sister of the late Munene wa Ndauwa, the late Emeliciana Wanjiru (Wathanu), the late Francis Ndung’u, Esther Njoki and the late Michael Njuguna (Gachona). Wife of the late Titus Muigai and mother to Charles Njuguna, Francis Mwangi Muigai, Monica Wanjiru Mureithi (Lamu), Rebecca Wangui, John Kinyanjui, Julia Wakiama, Mary Waithera, Beth Wanjiku, Irene Njoki, Simon Munene and the late Catherine Wanjira. She leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily at her home in Gakarara Village and at her son, Francis Mwangi Muigai’s home in Kerarapon, Ngong.
There will be mass at Francis Mwangi Muigai’s home in Kerarapon on Friday, 22 December 2017, at 5.00 pm.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on 27 December 2017 at 9.30 am for a funeral service at Ruchu Catholic Church at 12.00 noon the same day followed by the burial at Gatombu Village, Gakarara, Kandara.
Our Father Jehovah knows how dearly we miss our loved ones and how we cherish all the memories we had of them. He has therefore provided a permanent solution to get rid of death forever. God promises that ‘He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth. For Jehovah himself has spoken it. (Isaiah 25:8)’
In addition, he has promised to bring back our dead loved ones who are in his memory.( Acts 24:15)
