It is with profound grief and acceptance of God’s will we announce the sudden demise of Cecilia Nyambura Muchiri of Kahawa Sukari Estate through tragic road accident along thika super highway on Monday 17th Feb 2020.
Daughter of Wilson Muchiri and Margaret Wangui Muchiri (Kijana Msafi Hotel River Road). Sister of Grace Muthoni (Gikomba), Alice Wambui (U.K.) and the late George Njoroge. Step sister of Samuel Njoroge (Japan), Stanley Mwangi, Benson Maina, John Gitonga and Titus Muteti.
Auntie of Cynthia, Silvia, Michelle, Tamzym, Tanisha and Trinstan (U.K.). Niece, cousin and a friend to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangement at her father’s residence in Kahawa Sukari Estate starting from 6:30pm.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Tuesday 25th February 2020 at 8:00am for a funeral mass followed by final rituals at the graveside in Lang’ata Cemetery starting from 10:00am.

Thank you for kind words S. W… My sister’s soul will only rest when the justice is found for her. And her spirit will not let the killers have a nice rest in the night. If there just in the planet earth, my sister will get her justice unless the killers kill all of us. I know she is fighting in the spirit. The fight of finding just Nyambura has reached a crucial point. We want to put the killers where they belong and we need everyone to support us. This case represents all young girls, daughters, sisters, cousins, and all females in Kenya. If we let the killers go free… no females in Kenya is safe.
