The late Ceciliah Wangui Kimondo was born in Wakiruki, Kiandemi Sub-Location, Othaya Sub-County.
Daughter of Wanenga Giati and Wangari Gakuo. Beloved wife of Kimondo Ndirangu. Mother of Teresa Wairimu, John Maina, Margret Wamuyu and Joseph Wachira. Co-wife of Agatha Wanjiku. Step-mother of Margret Wangechi, Zaveria Waturi, Paul Maina, Josphat Mwangi, Simon Muchiri, Samuel Karoki, Martin Kihungi and Teresa Wairimu. Grandmother of 21 and great-grandmother of 5.
Funeral arrangements are taking place daily in the village and Emmacra Hotel (Nairobi).
She will be laid to rest in Gikira, Ruruguti, Othaya Sub-county, on Thursday 13th June, 2019 from 10.00am.
Mama you fought a good fight. Rest in peace.
