Charles John Kibira

It is with great sadness accompanied by gratitude to God that we announce the passing to glory of Charles John Kibira on 9th of May 2019 after a short illness at his home in Gardener, Kansas City in the USA. Formerly of Ministry of Public Works, Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Health.

Son of the late Daniel Mwangi Kamoni and the late Winifred Wanjiru. Son-in-law of the late Joseph Ifadda and Teresa Chunga. Husband of Anne Kibira. Father of Julius Mwangi, Yvonne Kibira, Teresa Chunga and Joseph Ifadda. Brother of Kimaru, Rose Wangu, the late Francis Mwema, the late Margaret Gathoni, Mariam Wangare, Eunice Kerigo, the late Grace Wanjira, Eliud Charles John Kibira Mureithi and Catherine Wangui. Grandfather of Jamaine, Jasmine and Charles John.

Friends and relatives are meeting at his house in Mesora Buruburu Phase 2 rentals house no. 196, Eunice Kerigos house (Chairlady), Huruma roundabout and Muruguru Marine in Nyeri for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 24th May, 2019, followed by the burial on the same day, at his home in Muruguru Marine Nyeri County.
