Charles Kakundi Kyavoa

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance that of Gods will that we announce the passing on of Charles Kakundi Kyavoa which occurred at Nairobi Hospital on 6th February 2019. Before his demise he worked for IEBC as the Constituency Electoral Coordinator for Kibwezi East constituency.

Son of the late chief David Kieti Kyavoa and Ann Muthule Syengo. Loving husband of Grace Kiluti Kakundi. Adoring father of Boniface Kyavoa, Beth Ngute and Damaris Mwikali. Father in law of Rhoda Kalekye and Richard Odak. Brother of the late Kamuli, Kasyoka Mwalya, Nzuri, Bernard Ndisya (Ministry of Agriculture), Taavu, the late Peter Syengo, Mary, Nduri, Mulela, the late Wambua, John Wotuku, Ngei, Nzisa, Thembwa and Katua. Cousin of Junior Kimanzi Mutisya, Kavithe Muthui, Kakindu Mwangangi, Munyoki Kitheka, Musembi Mutie, Masauru Musili, Monica Ngei, Maluki Kitivui, Syengo Kitivui, Munyoki Mulatya, Mwenga Ngari.

Uncle of Philip Mutia, Cosmas Kimanzi, Kimanzi Nduli, Munyao Nduli, John Mwalya, David Mwalya (Unga Limited), Sammy Mwalya, Florence Syovata, Solomon Ndisya, Agnes Ndisya, Caroline Ndisya, Eunice Ndisya, Chris tlutinda, Caroline Peter, Diana Peter, Musilu Kamuli, Kasanga. Kamuli, Munyoki Nzuri, Matiba Nzuri, Kakiro Nzuri, Kalekye Nzuri, Mwangangi Kangaatu among others. Grandfather of Ethan Kakundi, Celine Kimberly and Grace Portia.

The cortege leaves Lee funeral home in Nairobi on February 16, 2019 at 7:00 a.m followed by the funeral service and burial on the same day from 10:00am at his rural home in Kamutiu Sub location, Imba Location, Nguni Division, Mwingi East District, Kitui County.

Friends and Family members are meeting daily for prayers and funeral planning at Jamiat Central Hotel Opposite Nation Centre from 6.00pm.

There will be a fund raising to cater for funeral expenses on Thursday February 14th 2019 at the same hotel.
