Charles Macharia Gichuki

We regret to announce the sudden death of Charles Macharia Gichuki on 2nd September, 2018. He was a teacher at Maragima Secondary School, Kieni East Sub-County, Nyeri County.

Son of the late Ananiah Gichuki Macharia and the late Rose Wachuka Gichuki, Husband of Esther Wahito Macharia. Father of Peter Gichuki Macharra (Inter Consumer Products Ltd), Rose Wachuka Macharia (Ministry of Education), Eric Mathenge Macharia (Geotronics Engineering Ltd), Joseph Turnuti Macharia and James Wahome Macharia (Geotronics Engineering Ltd).

Father in Law of Hydah Gichuki, Mary Muli-Mathenge and Grace Wanpru VVahome. Grandfather of Hakim Macharia Gichuki, Samna Wanjiru Gichuki, James Macharia Mathenge, Jamal Macharia Mathenge, Esther Nyarnbura Wahome, Rose Wangui Wahome and Nathaniel Macharia Wahome.

Brother of the late Mary Wairimu Gatune, the late Ann Waniiku Wachira, Margaret Nyaguthii Muigua, Joseph Tumuti, Patricia Nyeri Muiga, James Wahome, Winrose Wambui, David Maina, Consolata Wangari Gachara, Johnah Muriuki and Judy Njoki.

Friends and family are meeting daily at their home at Chaka, Milimani Village, Nyeri County starting 3prn and at St Andrew’s Cathedral, Nairobi, on Thursday, 6th September 2018, starting 5pm to 7:30pm.

The cortege leaves Mathari Consolata Mission Hospital, Nyeri on Saturday 8th September, 2018.

The funeral service and burial will take place at his home in Chaka, Milimani 15-in-1, Village, Thegu Location, Kieni East Sub-County, Nyeri County starting 11am.
