It is with great sadness we announce the passing on of Mr. Charles Mageto Aencha (Retired Asst. Chief) which occurred on 14th May 2021 at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital.

Son to the late Mzee Haron Aencha Gesimba and Mama Agnes Kemunto. Step son to late Rebecca Chae and Priscah Kerubo. Husband to the late Susan and Grace Mageto. Father to Risper, Jared, the late Gisemb, Moraa, Caro, Joyce, David, Nyanchama and Fred. Father in law to Richard Masese, Robert Ogoti, Diana, Naomi, Nicodemus, Blackson Muhindo, among others.Grandfather to Samuel, Dalton, Rebecca, Jennelle, Desley, Reagan, Vallian & Sallian amongst others.

Brother to Moemi, the late Samuel Omoke, Ruth, Esther, Teresa, Jackson, Milka, Duke and Alice. He had many step siblings including James Mageto, Dina, Naftal Zablon, Agnes amongst others. Brother in-law to Peris, Dorcas Aencha, Andrew Maati, Nyaribo, Nita, Miriam, Caleb, Naftal, the late Nathan Machoka, Pastor Joshua Abunda, amongst others.

Son in law to the late Kenagwa and Abunda. Nephew to Omae, Oira, James Mageto (formerly KTDA), Nyarangi, Mosirigwa, Akama, Sirimani, Ondora, Nyabera, Nyandemo, Kemunto, Moindi (all late), Gechure, Kemunto, Nyaboke’s. Cousin to Nyanngi’s, Mosirigwa’s, Akama’s, Sirimani’s, Ondora’s, Nyabera’s, Nyandemo’s, Moindi’s, Mageto’s. Uncle to Risper Aencha (New KCC), Eric, Daudi, Anunda, Stella’s, Collins, Nyaega’s, Nyaribo’s, Gichana’s Gad, Roy, Dr. Otundo, Nyanchama’s, Emmanuel among others. Semo to Geoffrey Asanyo (Nakuru) & William Nyaingo and a great friend to many.

Burial will be on Monday 24th May 2021 at Mwamonda Village Riuri Sub ocation Masimba Sub county.
