It is with humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the death of John Macharia Kariuki, former executive chef Serena hotel groups, which occurred on the 2nd May 2024 at the Aga Khan Hospital.
He was the son of the late Joseph Kariuki and the late Salome Wanja of Gatura Mukurwe ini, Nyeri County. He was the son in law of Walter Wachira and Eliza wangui of Gatitu Village, Nyeri County.
Loving husband of Salome Waigumo Macharia and Father of Joyce Wanja Gatoto, Elizabeth Wangui Macharia, Joseph Kariuki and James Wachira.
Father in law of William Gatoto, Grace Wachera and Sandra Kawira.
Brother of Mary Nyambura, Late Peter Ngunju, Julius Kinyori, Michael Gikandi, Scholastica Wairimu, William Gatere, Millicent Mumbi, Emma Njeri and Pauline Wahito.
Brother in law of Jane Wambui, Eunice Njeri, Late Duncan Kariuki, Late James Maina, Late John Ndumberi, Benson Mundia, Samuel Kibuthu, Ann Wairimu, Robert Wakanyi, Margret Wakiuru and Cecelia Wachera.
Grandfather of Kayla Nyambura, Judah Ngaru, Nathan Macharia, Skye Kanyua, Tyler Micheni, Sidney Mungai and Kaylani Waigumo.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Katipanga Kenol and Kahawa Sukari B from 4.00pm.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home Kabati on Friday, 10th May 2024 at 8.00am followed by the funeral at his home in Katipanga, Kenol from 9.00am.
May the Lord keep your soul rest in Peace.
