Chief Principal Wilson Tich Yego

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Wilson Tich Yego, Chief Principal St. Josephs Boys High School, Kitale which occurred on Sunday, 7th March 2021 at Mediheal Hospital, Eldoret. The late was a son to the late Mzee Yego Kipkiror Kipsobsobu and the late Talaa Yego, Stepson to Tingo Yego.

Loving husband to Susan Kunani, loving father to Fabian Kiprop Kirotich, Charlene Jepchirchir Kirotich and Patrick Kibet Kirotich. Brother to the late Ann, Eunice, Peris, Thomas, the late Kipchumba, Jeremiah, Jacob, Rebecca, John, David, Joseph, Elias, and Mary Yego.

Cousin to the late Mzee Tilitei Kisang, the late Arap Moek, Kachiril, Arap Neko, Ara Maindi, Nambawan, Arap Saurei, the late Isaac chemorkok, Joel Chemorkok, Samuel Kisang, Ishmael Kisang, Simion Lelmoi, John Chemorkok, the Late Christopher Kataarit, the Late James Kataarit among other relatives of Kanawa. Uncle to Shadrack Longoita, the late Tuiwakore, Taram, Limasia, Kilimo, Philemon among others.

Family members, teachers fraternity, friends and well-wishers are holding meetings daily at his home in Kiplombe, Kipkundul and Kachibora. The main fundraiser will be held on Wednesday 17th March 2021 at Wagon Wheel Hotel from 4.00 pm and all are welcome, financial support could be sent to Mpesa number 0726706948 (Lorna Kipsang — the Committee Treasurer).

The cortege will leave Racecourse Hospital Mortuary, Eldoret on Friday 19th March 2021 at 10:00 am after a short mass and expected to arrive at his Kiplombe home around 11:00 am for church service. Thereafter, the cortege will leave to his Kipkundul home, Marakwet West Sub-county. Elgeyo Marakwet County. The burial will take place on Saturday 20th March 2021 at his home in Kipkundul Village.
