It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Chris Elijah Abuya Abuga which occurred on 6th March, 2019.

Son of Adolph Abuga and Dr. Mary Abuga of DVS Kabete. Grandson of the late Mwalimu Jeremiah Abuga and Bathsheba Kerubo of Nyabururu Village, Kitutu Chache- Kisii County and the late Henry Ochieng and Mama Hellen Ochieng’ and Agnes Ochieng’ of Nyakuru Village, Sakwa, Migori County Loving brother of Ammon Onyinkwa, Ruth Abuga, Marion Kerubo, and Lilian Mogiti. Doting uncle of Adolph Jnr, Henry and Kaylee. Nephew of Evans and late Jacinta, Irene Mogiti, Martha and Hon. Innocent Momanyi (MP Bobasi), Kennedy and Sophia, Fannie and Hashim, Eric and Lydia, Fred and Roseline, John Abuya and Benta, Mike and Linet, Omondi and Edith, Peris, Tony and Carole, Jane and Robert, Peter and Tebby, Ascar, Joyce, Raphael, Moses, Joshua, Jacob, Maureen, the Ogutus, Migunas, Okenyes, Omambias, Mosetis, Obaigwas, Abuyas among others. Cousin of Beatrice, Laurrete, Edwin, Eddy, Hellen, Leah, Henry, Venesa, Kaylee, Vero, Mogoi, Edna, Duncan, Desmond, Jeremiah, Bikeri among others.

The body is lying at Motenzuma Funeral Home.

Main fundraising will be held on Tuesday 19th March, 2019 at 680 Hotel, from 5.30 pm.

The cortege leaves Motenzuma on 21st March, 2019 for the funeral service at Nairobi Central Church (Maxwell) at 9.00am and hereafter depart for Narok. Burial will take place at his fathers’s farm in Nairasirasa Village, Narok County.
