Daughter of the late Rueben Marete and Cecilia Gakiiru. Loving wife of Christopher Kimathi Meme. Mother of Doreen Kathure, Janice Kendi, Diana Gatwiri, Mike Mwirigi, Yvonne Kanana. Step-mother of Stacy Ntinyari. Sister of Murungi, Conrad, Tiberius, Florence, Njeru and Kaari. Mother-in-law of Herbert, Sammy, the late Victor, Ndunge and Brian. Daughter-in-law of Emmanuel Meme (Mwega) and Angelina Karea. Sister-in-law of Kithinji (USA), Kired, Joachim (UK) Mary Susan, Kinanu, Antonina, Charity (USA), Lucy (UK), Rosemary, Kirimi, Kibara, the late Kaaria, Muthoni, Beth, Natasha, Nick, the late Alice and Teresina. Grandmother of Munene, Helgar, Howard, Muchui, Zawadi, Imani, Mungai, Wema and Murimi.

The cortege leaves St. Anne’s Mortuary Igoji on Tuesday 6/11/2018 at 9.00am for a church service at Igoji Catholic Church and burial at her home in Kiria Village Igoji Meru.
