It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Christine Kiplagat Kandie of University of Eldoret.

Daughter of Kimoning Kandie and Mary Goretti Kwambai. Beloved wife of William Kiplagat of Moi University Eldoret. Dotting Mother of Victor (MTRH), Rodgers, Kiptoo (Moi University), the late Jepkorir and Jack (Moi Primary). Foster mother of Chiri, Jebet, Jeptoo, Cynthia, Jebiwott, Jepkosgei among others. Sister of Salina, Bolt, Kiplagat, Chepkosgei, Chematia, Kiprokich and Cheruto. Mother-in-law of Caroline and Faith. Sister-In-law of the late Caroline, the late Esther, Michael and Luka Daughter-in-law of Kiplagat Kipsabit Ego and the late Kimoi Kiplagat. Grandmother of Hazel, Abby, Vivian, Vinesiha, Jepkoech, Cyprian, Banton, Lenos, Dennis, Sherilly, Chumbaa and Chebet.

The cortege leaves Eldoret hospital funeral home, today, Wednesday 16th September 2020 at 8am for requiem mass at A.C. K St. Thomas Cheboiywo.

Funeral service and burial will be held on Thursday 17th September 2020 at her home Cheboiywo, Moi University, Kesses, Uasin Gishu County.
