It is with a great sense of loss that we announce the untimely death of Churchill Kisese Matu, on 18th October 2019.

Husband to Joyce Kalondu. Son of the late Jonathan Matu Kavila and the late Rael Syomiti. Father of Catherine Syomiti (Ministry of Lands), Carolyne Mbaika (Uriithi premium Sacco), Lenny Matu and Rhoda Ngali (Multimedia University). Brother of the late Peter King’oo and the late Sabina, the late Sam Munyao and Josphine, Emma Nthenya and Sammy Ngala, the late Tabitha Kamene and David Muli, Joyce Mwikali and Peter Makau, Rose Katumbi and the late Stephen Mutiso, Aaron Musyoki and Maria, the late Harrison Mumo, the late Joyce Mbithe and the late Timothy Mutiso, Jane Ndila and Joe Kaindi.

Son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Mutiso Ndola. Brother-in-law of Mr. & Mrs. Timothy Mutiso, Mr. & Mrs. Moses Ndola, Mr. & Mrs. Kelvin Mwole, Mr. & Mrs. Mathew Obote, Mr. & Mrs. Jasper Muli, Mr. & Mrs. Amos Munguti, Mr. & Mrs. Nicholus Mutiso and Mr. & Mrs. Isaac Waita. Grandfather of Promise Kalondu. He was uncle, cousin and granduncle of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Miumbuni, Mitaboni, Machakos County. We shall have a fundraising harambee today, Monday 28th October 2019 starting from 5p.m. at old T. The cortege will leave Monalisa and Montezuma Funeral Home, Machakos on Wednesday 30th October 2019 at 8.00a.m. for a procession to his home and burial on the same day.
