ft is with great sorrow and profound sense of loss that we, the family of Lawrence Gichana (Late) announce the passing of Mrs. Clesencia Nyabonyi Gichana.

Mother to Dunstan and Mercy Nyakundi, Daniel and Perpetua Moraa Angwenyi (late), Hon. Jimmy and Ruth Angwenyi, Leonida Nyang’ate, Kepha and Christine Oruru, Ireneus and Daphine Angwenyi, Ken and Josephine Mokaya, Edwin and jeridah Mariera, the late Charles Manyura and the late Martin Orangi.

Daughter of the late Robert and Dorothea Openda Nyairo. Sister t© Pauline Aberi, Michael Omayo Openda, Elizabeth Ong’ombe, Fredrick Ondigo and Jane Oigo, Celine Gichana, Benjamin Makori, Samuel Nyairo (all late).

Grandmother to Ronald, Brian, Hazel, Sylvia, the late Priscilla, Virginia, Duke, the late Constance, Phellisters, Eric, Everlyn, Ann, Beryl, Emmanuel, Gabriel, Valerie, Genevieve, Charles, Cynthia, David, Deborah, Dorothy and Perpetual. There will be a requiem service at St. Austin’s Catholic Church, Msongari on Thursday, August 25th 2022 at 8:00am. Thereafter the cortege leaves for Marani, Kisii.

The funeral service will be held at Marani Catholic Parish Grounds on Friday, 26th August 2022 and thereafter final rites at her home in Nyakamba Village.

There will be a meeting at Cardinal Otunga Plaza from 5:00pm,Tuesday 23rd August 2022, to raise funds to offset hospital and funeral expenses.
