Cllr Gidraph Kang’ara Mutura

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Cllr Gidraph Kang’ara Mutura on 19th December, 2022.

Son to the late Felix Mutura and the late Agnes Njoki Mutura. Brother to the late Samson Karau, Frank Mutura (USA), the late Peter Ngugi, the late Ruth Wanjiru, Patrick Njau, the late Wilson Maingi, Lucy Wanjiku, the late Alfred Wang’ang’a and the late Leonard Nene.

Loving husband to the late Cecilia Wairimu Kang’ara. Loving father to Hon. Benson Mutura (former Speaker Nairobi County) and Mary Mutura, Agnes Njoki, the late Kang’ara Mutura Samuel Ndegifva and Jackline Njeri, Martin Karau and Mukami (UK), Esther and Ken Alai, Sophia Kang’ara, Rita Wairimu and Allan.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Bahati Estate.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on 28th December, 2022 at 9.00am, followed by a church service at Our Lady of Visitation Church – Makadara at 11.00am.

Thereafter the burial ceremony will be held at the Lang’ata Cemetery.
