It is with deep sorry and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Cllr Ishmael Kiprop Koech of Irong Location Elgeiyo Marakwet County which occurred on 30th October 2022 at Reale Hospital Eldoret after long illness.

Son of the late Joseph Ayabei Chepkong’a and the late Gogo Elizabeth Kimoi Ayabei Tabkurgoi of Sergoit E/marakwet County. Brother to Salina, the late Isaac, Rachael, the late Raphael, Hellen, the late Josephine, Catherine, Ann, the late Roselyne, Augustine, Paul, Mark and Kenneth.

Loving husband to Pamela Ngeleno Ayabei. Father to Dickson (Nokia), Joyce, Kiprotich, Robinson, Gladys, Lyne, Gilbert (Water), Javan, Sherry, Jelagat, the late Ken, Luke, Lorna (MTRH), Evans, Jemeli and the late Jeruto. Grandfather to many.

Brother-in-law to the late Jonah Ngetuny, Nathan Ngetuny (USA), Emily and Nelly Ngetuny Marigat.

Father-in-law to Linda, Christopher, Kenneth, Brian Cherutich, Brian Chelimo, Sylvia, Viola, Josphine, Risper and Winfridah.

Family, friends and neighbours are meeting at his home boundary Irong location Elgeiyo Marakwet County everyday.

There will be a fund raising towards medical and funeral expenses on Sunday, 6th November 2022 starting 1:00 pm at his home boundary Irong location. Mpesa contributions can be channeled to 0710101035.

The cortege leaves Racecourse Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday, 8th November 2022 for an overnight vigil at the family residence boundary Irong Location. The funeral service and burial will take place at the family residence boundary Irong Location on Wednesday, 9th November 2022 from 10:00am.
