Cllr Julius Mworia

15th August, 1942 ~ 5th January, 2024

The heaven’s gate opened on 5th January 2024 and received our beloved Julius Mworia at the age of 82. He passed away at Coptic Hospital, Nairobi after a long illness.

Son to the late Joshua (Deputy Mayor – Meru) and the late Charity Itwerandu.

Husband of Zipporah Nkirote Mworia. Father of Dr. Emily & Chemjor (Nairobi), Mutwiri & Wanja (Meru), Kanana (Canada), Robert & Joslyne (Nairobi), Kendi (Canada), Wanja & Munene (Meru), the late Murangiri, Mutuma &
Josphine (Meru), the late Kinya. Grandfather to Seventeen Grandchildren.

Brother to the late Mayor Jeremiah Kanyamu,Alice Muku, the late Peter Kathurima, Jacob Murithi, Rev. Harun Gatobu and Zipporah Marete.

Son-in-law to the late Evangeline Nyoroka & Johana M’itirithia. Brother-in-law to Mwitikia, Mwenda, Stella, Gerald and the late (Mworia, Kirianki, Stephen, Joel).

Family and friends are meeting at his Kianjuri home everyday starting at 5:00pm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home – Nairobi on 12th January, 2024 at 6.00am for a funeral service at Ntakira MCK at 11:00am; thereafter the burial will take place at his home in Kianjuri Village, Ntima West Ward, Meru.
