It is with profound grief and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden and untimely death of Elder Cornel Masimba Kwasu (HSC) of Nairobi Central SDA Church (Maxwell), who at the time of death was retired former Assistant Director in the Ministry of Labour.

Beloved husband of Alice Awuor Masimba and father of the late Esther Lucy Anyango, Allan and Elizabeth Ochieng, Nelson and Priscillah Odhiambo, Julian Okoth and the late Jeremy Otieno. Son of the late Reuben Kwasu and Dorca Wajero of Malanga sub-location, North Gem. Step son of the late Miyere, late Nyamiwa, late Yukabeth Sande, and late Leah Ochola. Brother of the late Elijah Owamla, late Elly Malawa, late Paul Otieno, late Mariko Otieno, late Charles Ohon, late Malachi Osaso, Luke Oyier, Daniel Ouma, Alice Apondi, late Ada Atieno among others.

Son in law of Mzee Namaan Ochieng and Sella Adhiambo of Kagonya village, North Ugenya. Brother in law of the late James Otieno, Jared Ochieng, Charles Ochieng, Margaret Ombura, George Okech Ochieng, Janet Anyango Ochieng and Stephen Ochieng among others. Nyawana of Benedict and Prisca, late Lawrence Omwoyo and Loise Omwoyo and Grandfather of Joyprisca, Roy and Louisa. Cousin of Kwasu (HSC) the late Okeyo Muger, late Adams, the late Mary, the late Laban Awili, Dunga James and Ken Wanyanga among others. Uncle of Oginga Jane, Mildred, Wadoyi, Samuel, George, Luke, Joash, Billy, Caren, Elizabeth and many others.

Cortege leaves Star Hospital mortuary Kisumu on Friday 1st May 2020 at 6 am and thereafter a short Church Service/Burial same day at his Kodiaga home, Maliera, North Gem, Yala Division, Siaya County.
