Damaris Waithira Karanja (Nyina wa Ciira)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Damaris Waithira Karanja (Nyina wa Ciira), which occurred on Saturday, 13th August, 2022 at Lutton Hospital – Nairobi, after a short illness.

Beloved daughter of the late Paul Mungai and the Late Jane Muthoni. Beloved wife of Samuel Karanja Ciira. Doting mother of Kenneth Ciira & Eunice Wambui, Richard Mungai & Joyce Wanjiku and Esther Njuguna & the late James Njuguna.

Sister of K. N. Mungai (Advocate), Gitungo Mungai, George Kamau, David Githuku Kiguru, Eunice Ngina Nderitu, Irene Waithira (Tata Chira), among others. Aunt and grandmother to many.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Wednesday 31St August 2022 at 8.00am for the funeral service at ACK St. Paul’s – Enoo, Matasia at 11.00am and thereafter burial will be held at her home in Lower Matasia, Kamukuru Road, Ngong.
