It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Damaris Wanjiku Njiraini on 8/9/2018. She was born in 1916.

Loving wife of the late Douglas Njiraini Kangethe. Mother of Lydia Mwihaki Kamau, Beatrice Nduta Njiraini, Joseph Kangethe Njiraini, the late Hilton Gathungu Njiraini, the late Kabogo Njiraini, the late Michael Kahiga Njiraini, Daniel Munene Njiraini, Anderson Ndegwa Njiraini, the late Margaret Wanjiru Gitari, Jane Ngendo Gicho, John Ngugi Njiraini and Priscilla Nyandia (Madam P) and a step mum to the late Kangethe Njiraini, the late Prof. George Kibui Njiraini, the late Lucy Mwihaki Kibinge, Nancy Wanjiru Mureithi, Bud Gichuki Njiraini, Mercy Wambui Mungai, the late Kabogo Njiraini, the late Anderson Munene Njiraini, Ann Wanjiru Muturi and the late Florence Nyandia and a mother-in-law of many. Grandmother and a great grandmother of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting for funeral arrangements at her Komothai home daily from 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Thursday 13th September 2018 at 7.00 am. Funeral service will be held at P.C.E.A Kiaigi Church, Komothai Parish/Church at 10.00 am, thereafter burial will follow at her home in Mbari ya lgi village, Komothai location, Kiambu County.
