Damaris Wanjiru Kanja

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we wish to announce the demise of Damaris Wanjiru Kanja.

Wife of the late Stanley Kanja Wachanga. Mother to the late Alice Theru Kanja, Charles Maina Kanja, Geoffrey Ngatia Kanja, Leah Wangeci Kabugo, Joyce Wambui Kanja (UK), Jacqueline Muthoni Toffa (SA), and Sheila Wangari Kanja.

Sister to the late Francis Wanjohi Ngatia, late John Ndirangu Ngatia, Florence Muthoni Ndirangu, late Eshivan Theuri Ngatia, late Monica Muringi Muoni and Josphat Kabugi Ngatia.

A grandmother to 12 grandchildren and a great grand mother to 2 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence in Kimathi Estate house number E 36. Evening prayers are being held at PCEA Bahati Martyrs Church daily at 5:30 pm (Old Church).

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University funeral home on Friday 30th October 2020 and thereafter a funeral service and burial at her home in Ciaraini Ngangarithi in Nyeri County.
