Damaris Wanjiru Mbugua

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mrs Damaris Wanjiru Mbugua of Gatiaini Village, Kangari Ward, Murang’a County.

Daughter of the late Moses Waweru Kiboi and the late Isabella Njoki Waweru of Kiamworia Village, Gatundu South. Beloved wife of the late Michael Mbugua Ngaroga. Loving Mum of Susan Macharia (Mt Kenya University), Rose Wanjiku (Kapsara Kitale), Edwin Waweru (Ng’araria Girls), Jane Lucy Gathoni (Standard Chartered Bank), Mary Wairimu (Pretoria South Africa). Mother-in-law of Francis Muchoki (Catholic University), Leonard Wanjala (Kitale), Lydiah Njumbi (Gatiaini) and Bernard Kamau (South Africa).Grandmother and great mother of many. Sister, aunt and cousin of many.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at her home Gatiaini, Mooreland Hotel Ngara and Usanii Restaurant O’ngata Rongai from Monday 18th to Thursday 21st March 2019 starting from 5:30pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves St. Mulumba -Thika on Friday 22nd March 2019 at 8:00am for a church service and burial at her home Gatiaini Village, Kangari Ward, Murang’a County.
