It is with our deepest sorrow and humble acceptance of god’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Mr. Daniel Gicobi Kariuki (Kabenia) which occurred on 7th October 2018 when undergoing treatment at Coptic Hospital in Nairobi.

He was born in Kiang’ombe Village, Kiaruri Sub-Location, Karumandi Location, Gichugu Central Division Kirinyaga East Sub-County Kirinyaga County.

Son of the late Simon Kariuki Ndambiri and the late Veronica Muthoni Kariuki and step son of Ann Muriko Kariuki.

Husband of Rosemary Wandama Gicobi. Brother of Francis Gatimu, Peter Muthike, Mary Wanjiru. Step brother of Mary Muthoni, Francis Gitari, Lilian Njoki, and Peter Muthike and many cousins.

Father of Anthony Munene, Caroline Nyawira and Terry Wanjiru.

Father-in-law of Pauline Wangeci, James King’ori and David Kome.

Grandfather of Lewis Macharia, Alfred Murimi Jayson Karuri and Ryan Muriithi.

The cortege leaves Kibugi Funeral Home on Tuesday 16th October 2018 at 9am to Karumandi Catholic Church for funeral mass and thereafter to his Kiang’ombe Farm where he will be laid to rest.
