Daniel Kariuki Gichimu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Daniel Kariuki Gichimu on 26th January 2020 after a short illness.

He was the son of the late Ruth Njoki and Naphtali Kariuki of Kapsara Village cherengani Kitale. Son- in- law of the late Moses Kiarie and late Pauline Wambui Kiarie. Husband of Salome Wanjiku Gichimu. Father of Pauline Wachira, Phillip Kariuki, Audrey Wanjama and Timothy Kiarie. Father in law to George Wachira, Juliet Kariuki and Tom Wanjama. Grandfather of Shekainah Wachira, Shammah Wachira, William Wachira, Zarah Kariuki and Zena Kariuki. Brother to the late BilhaWairimu, late David Wangige, Ann Muthama, Susan Kamau, Zipporah Wakhoba, John Kihara, late Isaac Mungai, Harrison Mbuthia, late Simon Macharia. Brother in law to Late Richard Nguah, Mary Kahura, Scott Nganga, Julia Wangige, Ayub Muthama, Moses Kamau, Anthony Wakhoba among others. Uncle and grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the family home in Ruiru (next to St. Peters Catholic Church Kwihota) for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 31st January 2020 at 7.30 am for funeral service and burial to be held at their home in Ruiru.
