Son of the late Waithiru Mwangi and the late Nancy Nyokabi. Husband of Mary Nyawira Wanjohi. Father of the late James Ndiri, Mwangi and Pauline, Weru and Esther, Wamae and Ziporrah, Gathigia and Paul, Maina and Irene, Gathoni and Njeri and Mwaniki, Gachenga and Charity, Wambui and Kiranya, Kimondo and Mercy. Brother of the late Mwangi, the late Wamae and the late Njeri. Step-brother of the late Njeri, the late Karungari and the late Waitherero. Grandfather and great grandfather of many.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary, Karatina on Friday, 13/11/2020 at 8.00 am. Funeral service and burial follow thereafter at Rare, Kariminu, Kieni West, Nyeri County starting 11.00am.
