David Kamau Wambiru (Ngiriemu)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of David Kamau Wambiru (Ngiriemu), that occurred on 19th February, 2021. He was a former employee of The Standard and The Nation Media before venturing into private business.

Son to the late William Wambiru Kigara and the late Grace Wangari Kigara. Husband of Elder Margaret Nduta Kamau. Father to Joan Wangari, Nancy Nungari and Winnie Wambui. Brother to Joseph Kigara (Jupiter Electricals), the late Kenneth Kibe, Winnie Tavers (USA) and Esther Wairimu (UK). Uncle to Joe Kigara, Sheila Kigara, Njeri Kigara (USA), Grace Wanjiku, Mercy Wangari, Nelly Wambui, Lenah Murugi, Tom Koigi (USA), William Wambiru Njau and Flight Lieutenant Willliam Wambiru (UK). A beloved cousin, nephew and friend to many.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Referral Funeral Home on Tuesday, 2nd March, at 0800hrs. The funeral service and interment will be held at his family home in Kimunyu, Gatundu South, Thiririka village.
