Loving husband to Leah Mumbi Muigai. Son of the late Onesforo Muiru Wang’uru and the late Milkah Wanjiru Muiru. Stepson of the late Grace Wambui, the late Hannah Wambui and Mary Muthoni of Umoja village, Rurii Location, Nyandarua County. Son-in-law of the late Joel Gatuna and the late Ruth Wanjuhi of Ndunduri.

Father of Joel Gatuna, Mary Gikingo, Anne Wanjuhi, Betty Amador, Dee Muigai, Lisa Muigai and Dorcas Wanjiku. Father-in-Law of Damaris Wairimu, John Gikingo, John Kariuki & Lazaro Amador. Brother of Beth Wangari, Abraham Ndungu, Peter Mbiyu. Step Brother of Joyce, Sarah David Muigai Muiru wanjeri, Maina, Dr. J. N Muiru, Dr, BK Muiru, Machira, Kariuki, Njoki, Wairimu, Wangari, Ndungu, Gaita, Wanjiru, Ndungu, Kibunja and Wagura. Brother-in-Law of the late Wambui, Kaiku, the late Grace, Joyce, Muiruri Bernard, the late Nyokabi, Ngugi, Wangui, Nyangaru & Wamundia. Grandfather of Captain D. Macharia, Sharon Mumbi, Kevin Muigai, David Wahome,Tiffany,Trizah, Joan &Trevor Gatuna. He was cousin and uncle of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Mugaa II Estate Kitengela and Rurii Homes. From Monday 7th -9th October at The All Saints Cathedral Jumuia Café, 1st Floor.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral home (Mbagathi way ) at 6AM on Friday 11th October, for burial at his home Umoja village, Rurii Location of Nyandarua.
