It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the demise of Mr. David Munene Kahoya (DMK) CEO of DMK Construction Company and Nyakio Plant Operators & Driving School which occurred on 29th August, 2022.

Loving husband to the late Grace Ngina Munene and Monica Wanjiku Munene. Devoted father to Wairimu & John C. Kimotho, Catherine Munene, Joyce & Kimanhi Peele the late Kahoya & Wairimu, the late Kimani & Wambui and Mbugua Helen.

Son to the late Henry Kahoya Githongo and the late Beth Wairimu Kahoya. Brother to the late Simon Mbugua, the late Joyce Nyokabi Muiru, the late James Mburu, Emma Njoki, the late Mary Njeri Mbuthia, Samuel Njenga, the late John Chege and Margaret Wangui Njuguna.

Son-in-law to the late Muriranja Mboro & the late Milka Njeri Muriranja. Brother-in-law to the late Kamau, the late Kamweru, Wanjiru, the late Wangui, the late Njiri, Wambui, Wairimu, the late Kieya and Njoki.

Uncle to many and adoring grandfather to Moses, Joshua & Precious Kimotho; Grace & Jordan Munene;T’mya & Mathias Peele, Ngina Kahoya, Munene & Ngina Kimani, David, Samuel & Ngina Mbugua.

Family and friends are meeting at his residence at Kiunyu village, Gatanga Sub-county in Murang’a County starting from 4:00pm for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege will leave the KU Referral Funeral Home on 6th September 2022 at 8.00am, followed by a funeral service and interment at his Kiunyu home at 11:00am.

He shall forever be remembered as a brilliant and fearless, Leader and businessman who served his community and country diligently.
