David Mungiria Mwongo

(1948 – 2019)

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the death of David Mungiria Mwongo which occurred on 7th August 2019 after a long illness.

Son of the late M’Mwongo M’Ikwinga and the late Ciathaimuta Mwongo. Beloved husband of Rebecca Mbuthu Mwongo. Son-in-law of the late M’lkiugu Nkurua and Zipporah Nduuru. Loving father of Roseline Makena Mwongo, Abraham Kithinji Mwongo and Solomon Kijea Mwongo (Phy. Planner, Meru County). Father-in-law of Beth Gacheri Kijea. Grandfather of Mukami, Schola, Kimathi, Ntinyari, Mwendwa and Kinanu. Brother of Johnson Koome, the late Kathela Rukunga, Edward Muthomi, the late Naaman Muriira, Mary Ncheche, Severina Kajiira and the late Salome Kinya. Brother-in-law of Tabitha Karambu, Rosemary Karuki, Consolata Kagwiria, Joseph Muriungi, Charity Kanyiri, David Maingi, Simon Kimathi and Wilson Mutuma.

Family, Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home in Nchuura, Kunene Village starting at 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home, on Friday 16th August, 2019 at 8.00am for funeral service at St Rita Catholic Church, Nchiru before final interment at Nchuura, Kunene Sub-location, Tigania West, Meru County.

You fought a good fight; you finished the race and kept the faith. May God rest your soul in eternal glory.
