David Njiiri Murachia

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing on to glory of David Njiiri Murachia formerly of Kenya Airways on 15th May 2021.

The first born son to the late Esrom Murachia Njiiri and the late Joyce Waitherero. Step son to the late Georgina Wambui. Son in law to the late Eli Maina and the late Tabitha Nyambura of Mbugiti.

Loving husband to Mary Wambui Njiiri formerly of Ministry of Livestock, Nairobi. Devoted father to Moses Murachia & Ann Wangui, Eric Maina and Joyce Waitherero of CIC Insurance. Doting grandfather to Cheryl Wambui and Luke Jayden Njiiri.

Eldest brother to Joel Thuku & Leah, Naomi Muigai (Gachororo-Juja) & late Muigai, Julius Kiiru & Lucy, the late James Nioroge, Alice & Bishop Jimmy Kimani (Deliverance Church Zimmerman), Joseph Gichiri & Esther (Muranga High School), the late Wangechi Gichiri, Mwangi & Georgina (Costwise Electricals), Lydia Waithera & Alfred, Samuel Waititu & Esther, Lucy & Amin Mugera (Australia), Grace Muracia (NCBA) & Michael.

Step brother to Mary Nduta, Leah Wanjiru & the late A.P Kamau, Keziah Wangui & late Ndebu, Susan Njoki & the Late Kamau (Muharata), Fred Githara & Beth Njeri, John Waturu & Wambui, and Dr. Njiiri & Wanjiku (Kilifi).

Brother in law to the late Peter Thiga, Eric Karanja, Beth Karanja, Ruth Kamau among others. Treasured uncle to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at 5pm in his Membley residence and at their home in Kinyona-Karandi village.

Memorial service will be at 2pm today, Tuesday 18/05/2021 at Deliverance Church Zimmerman.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Thika road on Thursday 20th May 2021 at 7.30am for burial at their home in Karandi village, Kinyona, Murang’a County.
