It is with profound sadness and humble acceptances of God’s will that we announce the death of David Wachira Munyiri, an employee at Nairobi Water and Sewerage Company.

Son to the late Johnson Munyiri Kiburu and Mrs. Jullieta Wanjiku Munyiri. Step-son to the late Mrs. Agnes Wanjiru Munyiri (Sipili).

Loving husband of Florence Nyambura Wachira of Ngong. Father to Juliet Wanjiku (Mt. Kenya University), Josphine Nyawira (Limuru Girls) and Lewis Munyiri (Main Flo Preparatory).

Brother to Peter and Teresa Gathigia, Jane and Economist Peter Munyiri (GVN), John and Cecilia Nyaguthii, the late J.B Warutere, Catherine and Rev. James Munyiri, Christine and Dr. Charles Ngotho Munyiri, Celine and Geoffrey Munyiri, Esther and Paul Ndoria Munyiri, Catherine and Dadson Munyiri.

David Munyiri was a son-in-law of Francis Mwangi and the late Joyce Wanjiku. Brother-in-law of Veronica, Daniel, Sylvia, Jeniffer, James, Mary, Bonface, Hotensia, Faith and Elizabeth.

Step-brother to Peter and Grace Gathigia, Martha and Charles Munyiri, Susan and Andrew Wangai Munyiri, John and Jane Ngima, Samuel and Esther Wamuyu, Triza and Stephen Mwangi Munyiri.

Cousin to Prisilla Irimu, John Wachira, Peter Kimotho, Kinyua Muriuki, Wangai Dishon, Gathee Dishon, Grace Mureithi, Wangai Murioki, James Mureithi amongst others.

Friends and family are meeting daily at Nairobi Holy Family Basilica from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and at the family home, Nyana Village, Kahiga Sub-location, Mathira Constituency Nyeri County.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday 20th December 2022 at Kianjau Primary School from 11:00am followed by a burial internment at his family home.
