It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of David Wainaina Kahwai of Embakasi.

Husband of Rachel Njoki (Wakanyoni). Father of the late James Kahwai, late Jackson Karanja, Kanyoni, Kamunge, Waithera, Ndungu, Kamau, Mwangi, Njambi, Njenga,Wambui (USA), Emily, Wanjiru and Gikonyo. Father in law to Stephen, Evans, late Margaret, late Mary, Lucy, Sophie, Waithira, Mercy, Doris, Mwende, Rahab among others. Brother of the late Mutonya, Jane Wambui among others. Grandfather of the late Wainaina Kahwai, late Wainaina Kamunge, all Wainaina’s, all Njoki’s, Mwaura, Kanyoni, Njoroge among others. Great grandfather and uncle to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting for funeral arrangements at his Embakasi home daily from 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Wednesday 12th September 2018 at 8.00am then prayers and burial to follow at his home in Kambaa Githunguri Kiambu County from 11.00am.
