Appreication

We, the family of the late Godfrey Mate Mwaniki wish to thank our family, friends, neighbors and colleagues for standing with us during illness, subsequent demise, funeral arrangements and final send off our beloved husband, father and grandfather.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the PCEA St. Andrews, PCEA Chuka town, Kileleshwa Covenant Community Church and the entire clergy for their spiritual support. The Rev. Peter Kariuki for presiding over the memorial service at PCEA St. Andrews and the Rev Kiugo and Moderator Mwamba for conducting the funeral service at PCEA Chuka.

Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at HDU and ICU at the Nairobi Hospital, Texas Cancer Centre and Apollo Hospital, India, for their tireless effort in treating Mate.

We also wish to thank the funeral committees in Nairobi and Chuka forgiving of their time, resources and effort.

We thank the Head of the Public Service, Joseph Kinyua, Government Spokesman Eric Kiraithe, CS Jacob Kaimenyi, PS Prof. Micheni Ntiba, Gov. Kiraitu Murungi, Gov. Muthomi Njuki, Sen. Kindiki Kithure and the County officials of Tharaka Nithi and all of Mate’s friends for their wonderful tributes.

Special appreciation to Lee Funeral Home and Monezuma Monalisa staff and all the service providers both in Nairobi and Chuka.
