It is our humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Denis Ouma Sumba, a businessman in mombasa which occurred on 25th April 2020.

Son of the late Bonface Sumba Oracha and Agneta Atieno Sumba. Stepson to Bethseba Okanda Sumba and Margaret Sumba of Alego Kaluo, Kobare, Siaya. Husband to Beatrice Awuor Osiago and father to Kevin Ochieng Ouma of Taita Taveta county government, Belinda Atieno Ouma of KMTC, Taveta and Christine Adhiambo Ouma of The Star of The Sea Girls Secondary School. Brother to the late Fransisca Awino, Nicholas Sumba advocate, the late Lucy Atieno Sumba, Eunice Awuor Sumba, Susan Akinyi Sumba, Mercy Sumba, James Odhiambo Sumba of USA, the late Beatrice Adhiambo, the late Partick Onyango Sumba, Margaret Atieno, Mildred Atieno, Meshack Sumba, Judith Sumba-Odongo and Tabu Osewe Odinga, MCA, Siaya County Assembly.

Son-in-law to the late John Ella and Margaret Anyango of Alego Nyadhi, Siaya and brother-in-law to the late Onyango Aboka, Rosemary Onyango, C.C. Atieno, the late Oginga Denge, Bob Odongo of KIRDI, the late Shadrack Osewe Odinga, Kennedy Otieno Arum advocate, Henry Ouma, Stephen Opondo , Kassie Hooten Sumba, Caroline Akoth and Brian Onyango. Cousin to Hon. Edwin Yinda, Lilian, Roseline, Esther, William, Maurice Yinda, Erick Oduor Okumu, the Obuyus, Owinos, Otienos, the Omulos, Nyamodis and Nyamogos. Uncle to Emma Molly Otieno of USA, Bella, Cindy, Juliet, Marion, Franklin, Mitchel, Clifford, Everline, Brian, Elvis, Benson, Eugene, Ryan, Abigael, Awuor, Frank, Raphael, Beryl, Toto, Bethseba, Bonface, David, Pinto and Andrew of Sweden and Raquel, Kay, Samora and Selina of USA.

The cortege leaves Coast General Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 30th April 2020 for burial on Saturday, 2nd May 2020 at the family home in Nyamboyo Village, Kobare, Siaya County.
