Derrick Mwachuma

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing away of our beloved Derrick Mwachuma that occurred on April 14, 2019 at Kenyatta National Hospital (Private Wing).

Son of the late Mr and Mrs Silvester Mwakaba. Step son of Lizzie Machocho. Loving husband of Julie Mwachuma. A loving father of Eunice (Merryland School, Syokimau, Nairobi), Hannah Mandi (Mwasere Secondary School), Lizzie Machocho, Jackan Mwachuma (Cimbria East Africa Limited) and Doris Wachira. Father in law of Henry Karanja, Tonnie Mwazo, Joshua Nganga, Maureen Medza and Eric Wachira. Brother of the late Hezel, Rita, Gladness, Amos, the late Florence, Livai, Alfred, Loiza, Late Marjory, Dora and Peter. He was brother in law of Jimmy, late Oscar, Late Goldin, Doris, Purity, Oliver and Mercy. He was an uncle and cousin of many. He was a grandfather of 7.

The cortege leave Kenyatta National Hospital mortuary (Private Wing) on Wednesday April 24, 2019.

Burial will be held at his Msisinyeni home, Mwatate, Taita Taveta County on Thursday, April 25, 2019.
