The Adeka family would like to express our sincere gratitude to all our friends, colleagues, the wider family both within Kenya and in the diaspora. You went out of your way to support us morally, physically, spiritually and financially.

Many thanks to the Nairobi Funeral organizing committee chaired by Capt. E. Aluvale, assisted by Dr. S. Mulindi, guest of honour at the harambee – Hon. Andrew Ligale and United Kenya Club Management. We thank the Busweta funeral committee chaired by Mzee Mahiva.

Special thanks goes to Alliance Girls’ High School class of ’89, Strathmore School class of ’91, Unilever Kenya, KWS, Ministry of Housing, Ministry of Industrialization and Judiciary Busia. We thank his doctors, Anyira, Arnold, Munene, Wahome, Wanga and care givers, Moses, Stephen, Nelly, Joy, Gibson, Judygrace, the entire St. Elizabeth Hospital Mukumu, who worked tirelessly to ensure that he was comfortable throughout his illness. Many thanks to Sunrise and Greenfields, Water Front Gardens and St. Francis Xavier Church communities.

Special thanks to the Busweta Friends Church who provided pastoral care and gave him a befitting burial. To our relatives from Zanzibar and Pemba, thank you for braving the long journey to be with us during this time.

It is not possible to thank every single person individually, but we remain forever grateful to your kindness and presence. May god bless you all abundantly.
