Son of the late Samuel Mburu Kainie and Mary Waithera Mburu. Son-in-law of the late Ayub Githigia Kamau (Kariime) and Ruth Njeri Githigia. Dear husband of Lucy Wangari Ndungu. Loving father of Dorin Waithera Ndungu (Kenyatta University) and Brian Mburu Ndungu (Meru University). Loving brother of Josphine Wambui Mburu (USA), the late Anne Wanjiru, David Kibe and Charles Kinyanjui (Agility). Nephew of Jane Gathoni, Gladys Ngendo, Margaret Wambui, Rahab Nduta and Benson Kinyanjui. Uncle of Dennis, Blessing, Stacy, Gracious, Mary Waithera, Charles Wanjau, Dorin (USA), Alicia (USA), Jeremy (USA), Natallie (USA), Moffat, Martin , Morris, Njeri,Wangui, Lassel, among others. Brother-in-law of Jane Jimka (Thika), Margaret Kariuki, Kezia Githigia, Rahab Raymond (USA), Dr Samuel Githigia (Nairobi), George Kangara (Nyahururu), among others. The cortege leaves Nyahururu County Refferal Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 1/12/2020 at 8.00am.Thereafter a mass and burial at his home in Oljabet Town, Marmanet, Nyahururu.
