Death has occurred of Mrs. Dorcas Kaguri Gatimba.

Wife of late Douglas Gatimba. Daughter of the late Peter M’Mboroki and Rael Gaiti. Daughter-in-law of the late James Nabea and the late Naomi Nkatha. Sister of Serah Ringera, Ann Nkaabu, the late Simon, the late Henry, the late Dr. Kirimi, Daniel, Stephen Mutethia, the late Mwenda and Professor Jacob Kithinji. Step-sister of Mutea and Kananu.

Mother of Charles Mubichi and Zipporah Mubichi, Peter Mugambi, Susan Kinya, Edwin Mwenda, John Dorcas Kaguri Bundi and Fatuma Bundi and Kenneth Gatimba Murithi. Grandmother of Doreen Mwendwa and Jacob Okoth, Betty Makena, Susan Kananu and Dr. Matnele, Muturi, Lena Kendi and Festus Kiumbe, Brian Munene, Christine Karimi, Andre Koome, lssa Mutethia, Mustafa Kimathi,Jjibril Mwiti and Yasmin Lokho. Great-grandmother of Keith, Jalil, Wambui and Mugambi.

Funeral arrangements are taking place at her Kambakia home and Nairobi Railway Club daily.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Monday 19th August, 2019 at 10.00am for a requiem mass at MCK Kambakia Church and thereafter interment at her Kambakia home.
