It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of our beloved mother Mrs Dorcas Kamende Katutu after a long and brave battle with Parkinson disease.
Loving wife of Rev. John Katutu Mutevu, formerly National B.E.E Cordinator of A.I.0 Kenya from 1994-2000. Loving mother of Ben Ng’ole, Samuel Nzeve, Ruth Mueni, the late Joseph Mutemi, Joyce Nthemba, Eunice Ndondo and Phillip Kamula. Caring mother-in-law of Carol Ndanu, Josephine Mueni, Sammy Nzioka, Gideon Nzomo, Ben Mwongela and Ruth Nthenya. Daughter of the late Phillip Kamula and Mary Syondau. Sister of Susan Katile, Zakayo. Katua, Musyoki, the late Sapina, Anna and Matia. Aunt of Ndumi, Nthenya, Kalekye, Muendo, Musyoki, Mwongeli, Mwende, Mueni, Mwau amongst others. Loving grandmother of Musya, Faith, Kevin, Maureen, Rachel, Peace, Esther and Mercy amongst others.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily in Nairobi at Garden square from 6.00 p.m. and in Machakos New 1-tot Restaurant from 5.30 p.m for funeral arrangement.
A fundraiser is scheduled for Wednesday 7th March 2018 at Garden Square Restaurant, Nairobi starting 6.00pm. The cortege leaves Montenzuma mortuary in Machakos on Friday 9th March 2018 at 7.30 a.m for funeral service and burial at her home in Uvou, Kitaingo location, Mukaa Subcounty, Makueni county.
