It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Dorice Awinja Sande a teacher at Friend’s Secondary School Wangulu after a long battle with Lung Cancer.

Daughter of the Late Heiron Sande and Late Rita Sande and Eunice Achieng’ of Ebuchero Emung.weso village Khwisero Sub County. Beloved wife of Maurice Esala Moyi of Mwirembe Village Kisa East Ward Khwisero Sub County. Loving mother of Peter Moyi, Antony Sande, Rita Makokha, Robert Eshuchi and Paslydah Machengo. Mother-in-law of Trine Musengy’a and grandmother of Maurice Sande. Daughter-in-law of the Late Peter Moyi and Leonida Majengo.

Sister of Seipha Nasengo, Alice Musaa, Fanice Amalaemba, Sella Sande, Noel Sande, Late Emily Etale, Late Abel Omukuba, Dr. Anne Sande, Andrew Sande, Sammy Sande, Moses Sande – County Attorney Kakamega County, Daniel Sande, Benson Sande, Jackson Sande and Wickliffe Sande. Sister-in-law of Paul Esonga, Linus Etenyi, Jacinta Moyi, Henry Nasengo, Dr. Joseph Musaa, Moses Amalemba, Peter Echesa, Elizabeth Sande, Mackline Sande, Esther Sande, Belinda Sande, Kawira Sande among others.

Nyabena of Benjamin Mutua and Mary Mutua. Cousin of the Swakas, Nambandes, Omuyongas, Khayingas, among others. Aunty of to the Nasengos, Musaas, Kweyus, Lusis, Amalembas, Echesas, Etales among others.

Funeral service will take place on Saturday 8th September 2018 at her home in Mwirembe village, Kisa East Ward, Khwisero Sub County, Kakamega County.

Dorice has fought a good fight, she has finished the race and kept the faith.
