Dorothy Nyaboe Sakaja

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the sad demise of Dorothy Nyaboe Sakaja (Kisii University) which occurred on March 4, 2021 after a short illness bravely borne.

Daughter of the late Jerusa Moraa Keengwe. Wife to Yona Sakaja (Yosax). Sister to Charity Nyanchera and James Nyabuti. Granddaughter to the late Birita Kemunto Keengu. Daughter-in-law to Rodgers Sakaja and Rosemary Mukhwana. Niece to Sam Nyamweya, Caleb Nyairo, Gesora, the late Nehemiah and Elijah, Zippora, Naomi, Karen, Dina,Agnes, Dorcas, Nyaboke, Charles Ruto and Jonathan (Australia). Cousin to Robert, Beatrice, Obadiah, Pamela, Phane, Edwin, Sharon, Alex, Phillip, Sheila, Lina, Bavon, Omocha, Sheba, Leila, Gad, Erick, Judy, Benjamin, Lilian, Silas, Ruth, Janet, Gomel, Maureen,Abraham, Geoffrey, Bosibori and many others. Sister-in-law to Lilian, David, Sylvia, Elizabeth and the late Emily and Wilson Sakaja. Granddaughter to Mr. and Mrs. John Sakaja. Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

The cortege will leave Moi Teaching Referral Hospital Funeral Home for St. Mathews ACK Cathedral Church, Eldoret for a requiem service on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 11.00 am, thereafter will depart for Kitale at 2.00pm. Burial service will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 in Birunda, Kitale.
