It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Douglas Orina Onyono which occurred on Tuesday 10th April, 2018.

Son of the late Stephen Onyono and Priscah Onyono. Step-son of the late Bethseba Mounde Onyono. Husband of Elsy Kwamboka Moturi, father of Chelsea and Aiden Orina Onyono. Brother of Job Gesembe Ongombe (Nyamira County), Gilbert Onyono (MTC Nyamira) Livingstone Onyono (Kitale), Huldah Onyono (Kamagambo), the late Esther Onyono, Elimelda Onyono (Nairobi), Elina Onyono (Kisii University), Stellah Onyono (Kisumu), Jared Onyono (Nairobi), Rose Onyono. Step-brother of John Onyono (Eldoret), Peter Onyono (Eldoret), Sarah Atambo, Nathan Onyono (Kisii), Momanyi Onyono (Kisii), Elkana Onyono (UoN-KNH), James Onyono (KDF Karen), Kennedy Onyono (Kisii) and Joyce Onyono(Kisii). Cousin of Birita Keengwe, the late Sarah Keengwe and the late Benjamin Keengwe, Elijah Ogoti, Zipora Ogoti, Hezron Ogoti, Pamela Aboki, Geroge Nyangena, Maureen Nyangena, Evans Ogari and Elkana Ogari, Onduto among others.

Uncle of Sam Nyamweya (former president Football Federation), the late Nehemiah Keengwe, the late Elijah Keengwe, Naomi Keengwe (Kitale) and others. Nephew of Miyogo Nyaimogora of Sirate, the late Agnes Nyarambeka, the late Mosinya Ogoti, the late Nyandwaki Asaeri, Charles Onyancha, Nyangau Onyancha, Chenara Onyancha, Benson Oseko, Charles Onyari and others. Brother-in-law of Atambo Monari (Rioma), Samuel Kiriago Mosaisi, Dr. Ezekiel Omwenga (Kisii University), Dominic Nyamweya, Daniel Rasugu Chui (Nairobi), Julius Oseko (Ag. office Nairobi), Robinson Kambi (Keroka Technical Institute), Truphena Onwong’a, Yobesh Onwong’a, Job Tengeya, Robert Tengeya and among others.

Family, friends and relatives are meeting daily at Garden Square (Nairobi) and at their home at Nyabworoba.

Main fundraising will be on Tuesday 24/4/2018 at Six Eighty Hotel (Tajmar Hall) from 5.00pm and at their home (Nyabworoha) village-Sensi Location.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Thursday 26th April 2018.

The burial will be on 27th April 2018 at Nyabworoba village.
