Dr Baselisa Nakhurnicha Malusu

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Dr Baselisa Nakhumicha Malusu after an illness bravely borne.

She was beloved daughter to the late Adriano Wanjala Muse and Lena Namaemba Wanjala. Daughter-in-law to the late Paul Isiongo and the late Lucia Shitunduhu.

Wife to Prof. Joseph Malusu formerly of Kenyatta University.

Sister to Boniface, the late Joan, Clementine, Petronila, Crispinus, Stanley, Stephen, Felistus, Joseph, Godfrey, Robert, Annette and Prisca.

She was a dedicated and devoted mother to Michael Mukasa, Laetitia Malusu and Lucille Malusu-Mwavita. Loving Mother-in-law to Antony Mwavita. Doting Grandmother to Zahra Mukasa.

Caring Aunt to Chiboli, Fr Benedict, Christine, Eric, Philip, Maggie and many others.

Friends and family are meeting regularly at her residence in Kahawa Sukari.

Requiem Mass will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Kahawa Sukari on 1Wednesday, 7th February, 2024 at 3.00pm.

Burial will take place at her home in Ileho, Ivihiga Division, Kakamega County, on Saturday, 10th February, 2024 from 9.00am.
