Dr Eliud Heywood Ochieng’ Aseso, eminent city children’s doctor, dies at 78s at reknowned

It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Dr. Eliud Heywood Ochieng’ Aseso, after a long illness bravely borne. Until his death, he was a renowned Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist.

Son of the late Mzee Hezekiah Aseso Rabango of Akoko Village, Central Sakwa location, Bondo Sub-County, Siaya County and the late Mama Sellah Atieno Aseso.

Step-son of the late Mama Margaret Chiro Aseso of Sakwa Agwere.

Loving husband of Seraphine Sindindo Aseso. Father of the late Nicholas Ochieng’ Aseso, Sarah Aseso Adiedo, Michael Osewe Aseso and the late Kevin Ochieng’ Aseso.

Son-in-law of the late Mzee Michael Arrumm and Mama Dorsila Arrumm of Ugenya Ambira.

Brother of the late Hannington Onyong’o Aseso,Aggrey Okoth Aseso, and the late Salome Adhiambo Aseso, Brother-in-law of the late Jane Zilpah Aseso, Judith Aseso, Dorine Onyango, Mary Mudho ,Elizabeth Arrumm, the late Albert Arrumm,Kris Arrumm,Pamela Abwao, the late Lucy Arrumm, Luke Arrumm, Doli Brungs, among others.

Father-in-law of Joe Adiedo and Victoria Nyongesa. Cousin of Sylvia Atego, the Osewes, the Nandes, the Onyangos, the Ategos, the Jangolos, the Okolas, among others.

There will be a memorial service at the All Saints Cathedral, on 23rd December, 2020 at 11.00am.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary, on Monday, 28th December, 2020.

Burial will be at his home in Akoko Village, Central Sakwa Location, Bondo Sub-County on 29th December, 2020.
